Hello, welcome !

I am glad to be here to serve your child. I love having a unique relationship with your child in my Academic Support classes. This will be my 23rd year at GAC. I have been involved in Academic Support for the high school since 1987.

One of my favorite past times is watching the Braves. GO Braves.  My husband and I are going to spend our next few summer vacations going to different stadiums to  tour and go to a game in each stadium.   This last summer we went to PNC Park in Pittsburgh, PA. I grew up going to see the Cleveland Indians play in their own stadium.   (Yes, I am a Yankee) The Indians were not playing at their new home field, so we went to Cincinnati to see them.  Great American Ball Park is a great place to watch baseball games.  We rooted for the Reds one night and the Indians the next night, and the Indians lost to the Reds.  Oh well.

In 2007, my husband and I went to Cleveland to see the Indians play at home.  We then went to Detroit to watch the Tigers play.  Besides going to baseball games, I enjoy spending time with friends and reading.  I am learning how to cook (actually it is mostly steaming vegetables).  It has been 11 years since I cooked.  My husband used to be the cook but he has to stay later at his new job.

I am a vegetarian and have been for 19 years.  I love tofu.

My husband and I are involved in the Atlanta Outreach Recovery Ministry at the North Atlanta Church of Christ.
