Ellie Kenworthy
My name is Ellie Kenworthy and this is my first year teaching 10th grade English. I have taught for the last four years, most recently in Elementary as a Teaching Assistant.
I grew up in McMinnville, Tennessee where I still have family and visit frequently. I attended Sweet Briar College for two years, then transferred to Sewanee (The University of the South) and graduated from Sewanee with a degree in English. I have completed work on my Masters in Education at Mercer University.
I worked in publishing for six years before taking time off to start my family. My husband, Randy, and I have three sons, Will, Matthew and Trey, and a golden doodle named Rocky. We live in the Smoke Rise area near Tucker/Stone Mountain and attend Campus Church of Christ.
When I’m not cheering on my boys at the soccer fields, I enjoy movies, gardening, photography, and I love to read! Chocolate and coffee are my favorite treats.
