Accomplishments-Milwaukee Symphony, Houston Symphony, Instructor at Interlochen Fine Arts Camp-General music teacher Evanston, IL. Cobb Symphony member, etc…All this and she is such a sweetheart. Completely supports our program and what GAC stands for!
Barbara Robinson – Violin/ Viola/Cello – Mrs. Robinson received her Bachelor of Arts from Thiel College in Greenville, PA. She continued her education privately by studying as an apprentice to Dr. Vernal Richardson, a 40 year veteran APS teacher and former child prodigy. Upon moving to Atlanta, Mrs. Robinson has performed with the Greenville Symphony, the Dekalb Symphony, Johnson Ferry Baptist Church Orchestra, the Four Season’s Orchestra, and the St. Bede’s Episcopal Church Orchestra. Currently, mrs. Robinson maintains a full private lesson studio while playing with the Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church Orchestra, and the Emory Baroque Orchestra.
Kathy Stewart-Violin-Ms. Stewart is currently a member of the Atlanta Ballet Orchestra, the Gwinnett Philharmonic, the Georgia Sinfonia Chamber Orchestra, and an active freelance musician. Currently she teaches at the Gallaway School and Sugarloaf School of Music. Education-BM in violin performance from GSU.
