Guy Fenocchi – Guitar – Mr. Fenocchi comes to us on the recommendation of Mr. Steve Freeman. He received his Bachelor of music in Jazz Studies from Ithaca College in Ithaca, N.Y. In addition to our school, Mr. Fenocchi teaches at New School of Music, Atlanta Music Brokers, and is camp director for CampJams. Mr. Fenocchi’s can be seen performing around Atlanta with Metro Quest Jazz Group. In the past, Mr. Fenocchi has performed with The Drifters, the League of Decency, Francine Reed, and Big Bill Morganfield (son of Muddy Waters). Mr. Fenocchi is a published author having written two instructional books for jazz guitar, and co-author of “Set the Stage Jazz Combo Series” with Randy Hunter.
Marc Baldwin – Guitar - Hailing from Raleigh, N.C., Mr. Baldwin has been performing music , producing music , and educating students in music since the age of 14. Mr. Baldwin received his Bachelor of Arts in Jazz performance/ Composition from University of North Carolina at Ashville. After this music study, Mr. Baldwin moved to Atlanta to pursue a performance career. Since moving to Atlanta, Mr. Baldwin has performed with and for the Atlanta Hawks ( as the NBA’s first live in game band) , Scar of Purple Ribbon Records, the Atlanta Braves, and the Jazz at Lincoln Center.
Mr. Baldwin also produces high quality music through his production company Live on Wax Productions. He has worked with MTV, EA Sports, FOX Sports, Sony, Universal, and Def Jam Records. He also produces his own local groups: AFAR (www.afarmusic.com) and DnS (myspace.com/dipnsteam).
In addition to his active performance schedule, Mr. Baldwin not only teaches at our school, but also at Music life in Norcross, Ga. State University, DayJams Summer Rock Camps, and Reach AFAR programs. Recently Mr. Baldwin traveled the US and Africa with the Jazz at Lincoln Center’s program American Music Abroad.
