Dana Pritchett
I grew up in the great state of Alabama in the shadows of Auburn University. I graduated from Auburn High School and attended my first year of college at Harding University. I finished my B.S. at Auburn University in Human Development and Family Studies in 1998. I received my M.Ed. in Science Education from the University of Georgia this past summer.
My husband, Jason, and I met in 1997 at the Auburn/Georgia game in Athens where Auburn stomped Georgia beautifully. I married Jason in 2000 and immediately moved to Williamsburg, Virginia. I spent three lovely years in the birthplace of our country before moving back to Georgia.
I have two children of the four-legged variety. Goliath, my six-year-old dachshund, and Larry, my three-year-old white English bulldog, are the best of friends.
I use them as examples a lot in my teaching.
My favorite subject in science is Christian Evidences, also known as Apologetics. God’s creation is fabulous, and the study of science is a great way to better understand how His creation works. I look forward to studying this creation with you.
