I grew up in Memphis Tennessee and spent the majority of my adult life in Searcy, Arkansas. I have five children and four grandchildren. I have lived in other states and moved to Georgia to teach at Greater Atlanta Christian School in 2001.

 I have a Masters in Education with an emphasis in school administration, reading specialist and Spanish. I have taught for over 30 years, all ages ranging from pre-school to adult education. Most of my teaching career has been in the middle grades, my favorite place to teach. I also have sold real estate and owned a small business.

 I enjoy traveling, and spending time with family and friends.  One of my favorite events was a back packing trip through Europe with one of my sons. My passion is mission work. I have spent many summers in Guyana South America working with the Rose Hall Church of Christ in Berbice, Guyana. I look forward to many more years of teaching, spending time with family and friends and going on mission trips.
