My name is Valerie Jones, and I’m teaching fourth grade at GACS.  This is my fifth year teaching here, and I’m excited to get started again.  I graduated from David Lipscomb University, and West Georgia College.  I have taught fifth grade for six years in the Marietta School system.  My seventh year there, I taught fourth grade.  I’m looking forward to meeting all of my new students this year.  We will have a great time learning and growing together both academically and spiritually.

I am looking forward to starting an exciting year.  The fourth grade team is strong and our curriculum is exciting Bible is my favorite subject.  I am so thankful that we can be in a place free to praise Him and learn about Him every day.  There are fun things to learn in all of our subject areas.  I will teach all academics except Social Studies.  The Social Studies teacher is Kay Bryant.  She is an excellent teacher.  I will teach Science to her students while she teaches Social Studies to my students.  Fourth grade will be a challenge worth every experience!  It will be a wonderful year!
