LANDFORMS WEBQUEST


TOPIC:
The United States is made up of many landforms. Most of us have never seen some of these landforms. It is exciting to travel to different places. We will be traveling to several of these landforms. Pack your bags for an exciting adventure through the Great Lakes, Rocky Mountains, Grand Canyons, and deserts.


TASK:

1. Your group will assign jobs to each member based on the graphic organizer that you will complete about the landform you are researching.

2. Next you will use the internet site for your landform. Click on the landform that you are researching by pressing the “CTRL” key. When the hand appears click on the name of the landform. You will be taken to the internet website to begin your research. Read the information to learn information about your landform. Remember to write the information in your own words on the graphic organizer.

After completing the written part of your report, you should select a picture to include as part of your presentation.

3. After you complete your research, you are to work with your group to select the type of presentation you will use to share your information with the class.

4. When the decision is made about the type of presentation you will make, please discuss it with your teacher and obtain the materials needed to prepare the information to share with the class.
