We hope everyone enjoyed Winter Break. The children seem well rested and 
ready to go until our next break – Spring Break! 

 A.R. cut off this Monday at noon – February 25th. Certificates will 
be passed out in our gym on Friday the 29th during chapel. 

 Pioneer Day – Wednesday, Feb. 27th – We are gearing up for this 
annual event. Please contact your teacher if you will be able to help. 
Volunteers are what makes this day successful! We want to encourage 
all of the students to dress the part for this day. This will add to the 
atmosphere. In years past, 98% of the kids dress as a Pioneer! Also a 
reminder that each child will need to have one disposable aluminum 
pie pan in order to participate in one of the activity rooms. These 
can be bought at grocery stores for about $1.00 in a set of three! 

 Jump Rope For Heart – Thank you for encouraging your child to 
participate in this meaningful fundraiser. Time is still remaining for 
donation collections. The envelope with donations is due on 
Thursday, February 28th. Please do not send the money ahead of 
time. We can not always insure the safety of money being stored in 
our classrooms. 

 February Book reports (Magazine article review unless otherwise 
stated by your teacher) are due next Friday the 29th.
