Mrs. Lori Sams
Although I was born in a small town in Illinois, I have spent most of my life in the Metro Atlanta area. I graduated from Tucker High School and the University of West Georgia, where I received a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education. I finished my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education Brenau University in the spring of 2007. I taught two years at Yatesville Elementary School in Upson County and four years at Annette Winn Elementary School in Douglas County before taking an eight year leave of absence to be a stay at home mom with my two children. I returned to the teaching profession and joined the GACS Faculty in 2000 when my youngest was in 1st grade.
I have been married for 17 years to Scott Sams, who I met at North Atlanta Church of Christ. We have two children, Victoria and Tyler. Victoria is a sophomore at GACS. She is involved in the GACS Dance Team and drama. Tyler is in the 8th grade and is involved in soccer at GACS and on the U14 Atlanta Fire United Soccer Association Gold team. In addition we also have an eight year old Cocker Spaniel named Maggie who loves to play Frisbee and catch.

My family and I worship at Grace Chapel Church of Christ in Cumming.
I enjoy spending time with my family; watching my children’s extra curricular activities, going to the lake, vacationing at the beach and scrap booking.
